Profile
Raj Kumar KC, PhD in Management from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu Nepal, is a teaching faculty and resource person at Tribhuvan University and Nepal Open University and conducts studies on public policy, management and economic issues. Dr. KC has also obtained Social Entrepreneur IBS (Diploma) from Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute, Norway 2021.
He has also contributed as a key note speaker of 95th summit Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute, Norway on “Impact of government policy on export trade and poverty alleviation in Nepal”. He was also a key note speaker at an interaction program organized by the Nepal Open University in September this year.
On top of that Dr. KC, did his diploma in American Studies organized by the World Press Institute (WPI) in 2005 in Minnesota, the USA and participated in the Business news writing training organized by the Reuters in 2004 in London.
Dr. KC presented papers on the issues relating to farmers’ rights and food security held in Manila, the Philippines and Chiang Mai, Bangkok in Thailand. Dr. KC served as a journalist in The Rising Nepal and The Republica, English broadsheets in Nepal. He had worked in the Election Commission Nepal as a media coordinator in 2008.
As a media person he had participated in WTO Ministerial Conference held in Geneva in 2010. Dr. KC, is affiliated with Nepal Foundation for Advanced Studies (NEFAS). His opinion articles and research articles have been published in various newspapers and journals.
He is a litterateur of Nepali language and has three books of poetry to his credit.
