Local Heritage Management: policy, practices and innovations. Acronym - Heritage

The overall objective of the project is a crucial contribution to recognizing the level of knowledge and awareness of heritage values and its impact in social and economic development of the localities. The main focuses of the research activities will be devoted to the investigation of the interdisciplinary toolkit that covers expertise issues on project management, economic development, local strategies designing and implementing, creative and regional products, participation in decision-making, education & promotion, law, spatial planning, IT technologies etc. We aim through the methods of historical analysis, comparative analysis, and strategic planning to develop the integrated methodology for building local heritage management strategy and presenting local cultural heritage brand to the public.
The project involves producing a scientific monograph and disseminating project results to academic institutions, NGOs, communities’ officers and leaders, etc. on forums, summits, conferences and public discussions.
